The speaker
Yordan Zhechev is one of the doyens in creative advertising agencies in Bulgaria. He has been Head of Creative at DDB Sofia/guts&brainsDDB for almost 15 years now. With his work for M-Tel, Handy, IKEA, ABSOLUT, Sofia International Film Festival, Telenor/Yettel and many, many others, Yordan has deserved the title ‘the most awarded creative director in Bulgaria’. Outside of purely creative work, Yordan is actively engaged in production work (from being the executive producer for DDB to partnership in one of the largest production companies in Bulgaria – final_new), and within seven years prior to his retirement, he founded, managed and implemented Tribal Worldwide Sofia in the market acting as a managing partner. In the world beyond advertising, Yordan is a partner in the largest podcast network in Bulgaria (Govori Internet), as well as an investor in a number of small companies, primarily focused on the production of quality food. He was born, studied, fell in love and lives in Sofia with three boys and a jazz bar.
